Clark Public Utilities Celebrates National Pollinator Week With Pollinator Garden Tours Event

Clark Public Utilities is celebrating National Pollinator Week with pollinator gardens tours, presentations by pollinator experts and kids’ activities.

Self-led or guided garden tours will take place at the utility’s Electric Center in downtown Vancouver, the Operations Center in Orchards, and the Van Dyke Substation in Lake Shore.

The Electric Center will host presentations by local pollinator experts at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. on how to incorporate pollinator-friendly plants in home landscapes, as well as pollinator-themed kids’ activities and informational tables about the utility’s decades-long commitment to responsible and sustainable environmental stewardship.
